The 10th Installation Ceremony of KDU Toastmasters Club
The 10th Installation Ceremony of the KDU Toastmasters Club was successfully conducted on the 8th September 2022 at the Main Auditorium in the Faculty of Graduate Studies. The President and the Executive Committee for the year 2022/23 that were elected in July were installed at this ceremony. Following up, the induction of the newly registered members took place on this eventful evening.
This spectacular event was graced by the Chief Guest, Brigadier W Chandrasiri RSP USP psc – Deputy Vice Chancellor (Defence and Administration) of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University. The Guest of Honor for the event was distinguished Toastmaster Nisal Weerakoon – District Director District 82. The Keynote Speaker was Mr. Sarinda Unamboowe – CEO/Managing Director at MAS Kreeda. Deans of Faculties, Directors, Military Officers, Officer Cadets, Key District Officials of District 82 and other special invitees participated in the event. This grandiose event was followed up with a fellowship session where all Toastmasters, members and guests engaged together in entertainment and refreshments.
