Kotelawala Defence University Conducted an Awareness Program On Drug and Alcohol Prevention

Kotelawala Defence University conducted an awareness program to its students on Prevention of Drug and Alcohol Addiction on 18 October 2019. Program was conducted along with the Drugs and Alcohol Prevention National day activities. Following resource personnel of presidential Task Force delivered lectures to 150 students on effects and consequences of using and getting addicted to drugs and alcohol.

Mr Thilakarathna Lecturer of Ruhunu University and Consultant of PTF on Drug Program. Dr Rajeewa Ranaweera Lecturer Faculty of Medicine on University of Jayawardanapura and adviser of WHO. Further, Handouts on Prevention of Drug and Alcohol Addiction were distributed among the students and Poster exhibition was conducted.
