    Captain Amila Bulathgama is from the Gajaba Regiment of Sri Lanka Army. He acquired his Studies from Kegalu Vidyalaya- Kegalle. He joined the Sri Lanka Army on 16 September 2014 as an officer cadet with the KDU Intake 32. He has completed his academics in General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University and military training at Sri Lanka Military Academy Diyathalawa. He was commissioned on 17 December 2017 as a second lieutenant. Subsequently, he was posted to the 3rd Battalion the Gajaba Regiment

    During his tenure at the 3rd  Battalion the Gajaba Regiment, Captain Amila Bulathgama held several key positions :
