    Flt Lt HDW AMHS Hemasiri is from the Sri Lanka Air Force Regiment Branch. She acquired her studies from Viharamahadevi Balika Vidyalaya-Kiribathgoda,  and  she joined Sri Lanka Air Force as an Officer Cadet of Intake 36 KDU. After completion of the basic military training at Sri Lanka Air Force, she was commissioned to the rank of Pilot Officer on 2020 July 30.

    During her tour of duty, she has hold following important appointments:
