    Flt Lt HDW Mahesh is from the Sri Lanka Air Force Regiment Branch. He acquired his studies from Nalanda  College -Colombo,  and  he Joined Sri Lanka Air Force as an Officer Cadet of Intake 35 KDU. After completion of the basic military training at Sri Lanka Air Force, he was commissioned to the rank of Pilot Officer on 2022 January 31.

    During his tour of duty, he has hold following important appointments:

    • Detachment Commander – SLAF Detachment Mdukanda
    • Flight Commander                         – SLAF Station Diyathalawa

    • Regiment Squadron  Adjutant           –  SLAF Station Piduruthalagala
