Sara Silva is currently teaching History at the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU), Sri Lanka. She is interested in fields such as Military history, Sri Lanka history, World Wars, International Politics, and Political Instituttions. She received a BSc in Social Sciences degree with a Frist Class from Kotelawala Defence University. She also has a Masters of Business Administration from Wolverhampton University UK. As an academic member and a researcher, Ms. Sara has served in private universities and administrative institutions in the country. Before joining KDU, she was serving as a Consular Officer at the Consulate of Republic of Botswana in Sri Lanka.
