Major PS Gauder possesses a BSc Eng in Electrical and Electronic engineering from General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University with a Second Class in the Upper Division. He is an Associate Member of Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka (AMIESL) and Associate Engineer of Engineering Council, Sri Lanka (AEng).
