Duties & Responsibilities

Quality Assurance Policies and Procedures

Develop and implement quality assurance policies, guidelines, and procedures in line with national and international standards to ensure academic excellence and quality education.

Academic Program Reviews

Conduct periodic reviews of academic programs to assess their relevance, effectiveness, and quality. Identify areas for improvement and suggest necessary changes to enhance the curriculum and learning outcomes.

Teaching-Learning Evaluation

Monitor and evaluate the teaching-learning process through student feedback surveys, classroom observations, and assessment of teaching methodologies. Provide recommendations and support to faculty members for enhancing teaching effectiveness.

Faculty Development Programs

Organize and facilitate faculty development programs, workshops, and training sessions to enhance the professional skills and competencies of faculty members. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth among the teaching staff.

Research and Publications

Encourage and support research activities among faculty members and students. Facilitate research collaborations, provide research grants, and promote the publication of research findings in reputable journals and conferences.

Student Support and Guidance

Collaborate with various departments to ensure student-centric initiatives and services. Monitor student satisfaction, provide counseling support, and address student grievances effectively.

Institutional Benchmarking and Accreditation

Conduct benchmarking exercises to compare institutional performance with national and international standards. Prepare the necessary documentation and coordinate accreditation processes to maintain the institution`s credibility.

Quality Audits and Reviews

Conduct periodic internal audits and reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of quality assurance processes and practices. Identify gaps and areas for improvement and implement corrective measures.

Feedback and Grievance Mechanism

Establish and maintain a robust feedback and grievance mechanism for students, faculty, and staff. Address concerns, suggestions, and complaints in a timely and fair manner.

Documentation and Reporting

Maintain comprehensive records and documentation related to quality assurance activities, including assessment reports, policies, and guidelines. Prepare and submit reports to relevant authorities as required.

External Collaboration

Engage with external stakeholders, including industry professionals, government bodies, and quality assurance agencies, to stay updated with the latest trends, practices, and benchmarks in the field of defense and strategic studies.
