The Institute for Security Governance (ISG) conducted it is second workshop of the three-fold workshop series to the Centre of Strategic Assessment at General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University under the theme of “Strategic Simulation” scheduled for this year. The above event was held on 7th of March 2025 at Courtyard by Marriott Colombo.
The event was conducted by Ms. Kelly Mader-Schonour an expert on ‘Strategic Simulation’ which focused on an elaborative approach in defining each step in Strategic Simulation process. The workshop extended into a very actively engaged session with representatives from both the ISG and the Institute of National Security Studies (INSS), along with representatives from the Faculty of Defence and Strategic Studies (FDSS). The session the second of four phased initiative will continue late in May 2025 with two more sessions planned for 2025, for CSA to achieve full potential capability to design and deliver a Strategic Simulation.
