The Inter-Faculty Games 2023

The Annual Inter-Faculty Games of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University commenced at the KDU on 13th March 2023 in a ceremony held at the KDU Rugby ground. The opening ceremony was graced and ceremonially declared open by the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Defence & Administration) and President of the Sports Council of KDU, Brigadier DCA Wickramasinghe USP USACGSC. Ten teams representing the Faculty of Defence and Strategic Studies, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Management Social Sciences and Humanities, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Faculty of Computing, Faculty of Built Environment and Spatial Sciences, Faculty of Technology, and Faculty of Criminal Justice, will participate in the Annual Inter-Faculty Games 2023.

The schedule of the Annual Inter-Faculty Games 2023 of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University is as follows.

• Inter-Faculty Basketball Tournament from 13th March 2023 to 15th March 2023.
• Inter-Faculty Rugby Tournament from 13th March 2023 to 15th March 2023.
• Inter-Faculty Squash Tournament from 13th March 2023 to 15th March 2023.
• Inter-Faculty Chess Tournament from 16th March 2023 to 20th March 2023.
• Inter-Faculty Handball Tournament from 16th March 2023 to 20th March 2023.
• Inter-Faculty Badminton Tournament from 16th March 2023 to 20th March 2023.
• Inter-Faculty Cricket Tournament from 21st March 2023 to 30th March 2023.
• Inter-Faculty Table Tennis Tournament from 22nd March 2023 to 23rd March 2023.
• Inter-Faculty Soccer Tournament from 22nd March 2023 to 24th March 2023.
• Inter-Faculty Volleyball Tournament from 27th March 2023 to 30th March 2023.

The Grand Finale of the Annual Inter-Faculty Games of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University is scheduled to be held on 30th March 2023. All medals, certificates and trophies for the winning teams will be awarded during the Grand Finale of the Annual Inter-Faculty Games.
