Captain Suvin Subasinghe

Captain Suvin Subasinghe is from the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery. He received his primary education from Sri Rahula Maha Vidyalaya – Angoda and secondary education from Royal College – Colombo 07. He joined the Sri Lanka Army on 23 September 2016 under Intake 34 KDU to the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University. After completion of the basic military training at SLMA, he was commissioned to the rank of Second Lieutenant on 21 December 2019 and posted to the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery and subsequently posted to 8^th Medium Regiment of Artillery.

During his tour of duty, he has held the following appointments:

• Intelligence Officer – 8^th Medium Regiment Artillery
• Aid De Camp –   Maj Gen Janaka Ranasinghe
• Battery Captain – 8^th Medium Regiment Artillery

• Troop Commander – General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University.
