Conclusion

Mr. Gokhale’s session provided an in-depth analysis of the strategic dimensions
of information warfare in the era of disinformation. Through the examination
of real-world examples and the identification of vulnerabilities in nations such
as India, the crucial importance of awareness and effective counter-strategies
was emphasized. Insights into the underlying factors driving disinformation
campaigns, along with proposed countermeasures, offer significant guidance for
policymakers and security professionals navigating this intricate and evolving
landscape.
