Lieutenant Tharudini Wijethunga is an executive lady officer (Volunter) in the Sri Lanka Navy. She has completed her initial studies at Royal college, Horana and secondary studies at Devi Balika Vidyalaya, Colombo. She joined to Naval & Maritime Academy on 03rd October 2019 as an Acting Sub Lieutenant in Direct Entry 1/2019. After completion of the basic military training at Naval and Maritime Academy (NMA), she was commissioned to the rank of Sub Lieutenant on 22nd May 2017 and posted to the Executive Branch in the Sri Lanka Navy.
During her tour of duty, she has hold following important appointments:
