Lt Col AMP Amarasinghe RWP RSP USP psc

Lieutenant Colonel Pushpasiri Amarasinghe is an infantry officer who belongs to Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment of Sri Lanka Army. He is a proud product of Kuliyapitiya Central College. He Joined Sri Lanka Army as an Officer Cadet to General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU) on 08 August 1999 to the KDU Intake 17. After completion of the basic military training at KDU and Sri Lanka Military Academy (SLMA), he was commissioned to the rank of Second Lieutenant on 08 August 2001 and posted to the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment, a prestigious regiment of Sri Lanka Army and subsequently posted to 1st Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment.
