Major Udara De Silva is a commissioned officer in the Sri Lanka Army. He has completed his initial studies at Veyangoda Prasident Collage Veyangoda . He joined to Sri Lanaka Military Academy on 02nd July 2007 as an Officer Cadet in Intake SC 13. After completion of the basic military training at Sri Lanka Military Academy (SLMA), He was commissioned to the rank of Second Lieutenant on 26th July 2008 and posted to the Commando Regiment.
