Lieutenant Dineshi Amandi is from the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps. She is a proud product of Princess Of Wales’ College Moratuwa. She joined the Sri Lanka Army as an Officer Cadet to Sri Lanka Military Academy Diyatalawa on 07 January 2019 under Lady Intake 17. After the completion of the advanced military training at SLMA, she was commissioned to the rank of Second Lieutenant on 21 December 2019 and posted to the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps and subsequently posted to 7th Battalion of Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps. After that reposted to the 1st Battalion of Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps on 19th September 2022.
During her tenure at the regiment, she was performing some appoinments and currently she was posted to General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University as a Troop Commander.
