Lieutenant Manodya Weragoda is an executive officer in the Sri Lanka Navy and has completed his initial studies at Mayurapada central College and Pinnawala central college. He joined to General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University on 17th July 2017 as an Officer Cadet in Intake 35. After completion of the basic military training at KDU and Naval and Maritime Academy (NMA), he was commissioned to the rank of Sub Lieutenant on 12th December 2017 and posted to the Executive Branch in the Sri Lanka Navy.
